While many aspects of job-hunting in the U.S. are the same internationally, there are some unique elements.While you'll soon see quite a number of parallels between job-hunting in the U.S. and job-hunting in a foreign country, aspects of seeking an international work experience are unique. You'll have to deal with language and cultural differences in learning about opportunities and developing your resume or CV, and time and distance issues in trying to schedule interviews. You'll likely also find fewer information sources, thus limiting how much you'll be able to research the company. Certainly none of these unique elements are insurmountable -- they simply add another layer of difficulty in finding work overseas and will require you to have more patience.
