Current research interests are directed solely toward pedagogical research in a variety of
interrelated areas, including:
- writing across the curriculum and electronic communications in the marketing field;
- self-marketing and the utilization of marketing principles in the job search;
- applying the job-market approach to classroom group formation.
Other areas of interest include applied areas of managerial ethics and strategic issues in social
responsibility. This includes identifying critical success factors in managing the ethical
organization, the ethical decision-making process, and the ethics of advertising to children.
"Market Yourself the Career Journal Way: Find Your Ideal Job Using Proven Marketing Techniques." This monograph examines the use of marketing strategies as they related to career development and job-hunting.
My goal is to write approximately one marketing- and career-related article a month for various distribution, so this area is constantly being researched and always a work in progress.
Integrating career development techniques into the marketing curriculum also continues to be an on-going research project that may develop into other workshops, proceedings, or articles.
