Avoid apostrophe and possessive problems. When you wish to show ownership or possession, you need an apostrophe: your firm's training program, the company's policies, my former employer's evaluations of me. Also avoid unnecessary or misplaced apostrophes. Some writers are tempted to add an apostrophe + s to form a plural when they really just need to add an s (or es, ies, etc.).
