Avoid such phrases as "I feel" and "I believe." New grads sometimes lack the confidence to make bold and self-assured statements about themselves, so they frequently qualify their statements with "I feel" or "I believe." It's best to either leave off the qualifier or use a stronger qualifier, such as "I am confident," I am convinced," or "I am positive."
