Succeeding in Job Interviews #1: Always Be on Time for the Interview
Timeliness is crucial. You never want to be late for a job interview -- ever.
The cardinal sin of job interviewing is arriving late to the interview; in fact, for many employers, if you are late to the interview it is already over -- you lost the opportunity.
Thus, always strive to arrive a bit early to interviews -- which gives you a little extra time in case something comes up along the way, while also giving you time to relax and calm yourself before jumping into the interview.
Of course, things happen, like a dead car battery or bus breakdown, or a traffic accident -- and in those cases, call the employer as soon as you can and ask about rescheduling the interview.
