Succeeding in Job Interviews #3: You Always Want to Show Confidence During Interviews
You may be really nervous at the interview -- and that's partly to be expected -- but you want to try and show your confidence too.
You want to show you are confident you can do the job -- and do the job well.
The best way to show your confidence is to speak in a strong voice -- perhaps just a bit louder than normal conversation (especially if you are being interviewed in a place with a lot of background noise).
Speak slowly (we tend to rush our speech when nervous) and avoid mumbling.
Remember that the employer chose YOU for an interview -- so s/he must believe you can at least do the job -- so have the same confidence in yourself!
