Preparing for Job Interviews #3: Dressing For Success Applies to Teens
It's important to make a good first impression by being nicely dressed and well-groomed.
Dressing nicely will also help you stand out from other job-seekers.
While you do not need to wear a suit to your job interviews, you should dress nicely, say, in a polo shirt and khaki or dress slacks.
For teen guys, shower and shave and comb/brush your hair. Brush your teeth and clean under your fingernails.
For teen gals, shower and apply minimal makeup and perfume. Keep jewelry to a minimum. Brush your teeth.
Do not chew gum at the job interview.
