Using Resumes #3: The Importance of a Well-Written and Error-Free Resume

While having a resume is a good thing to help you stand out from the crowd, if it is not well-written -- or worse, has misspellings and other errors -- your efforts will have been wasted.

You'll impress employers with a simple resume that looks nice and showcases your skills and experience.

The key is working at your resume -- writing, editing, rewriting, proofreading, and final editing. (It also helps to have at least one adult review one of your drafts to help catch errors.)

The more work you put into your resume, the more success you'll have with it.
