How to respond to Why should we hire you?
What is the employer really asking?
The employer wants you to tell him/her why the organization should hire you rather than any of the other job applicants.
How job-seekers should respond to this question
Your answer must implicitly answer the question -- must show how you are better than the other applicants (without actually saying those words).
Knowing the requirements for the job -- and showing point by point that you have or exceed the qualifications works well. Demonstrating good work ethic and previous initiative also helps make your case.
