Bad nonverbals to avoid in the interview.

While not truly a nonverbal behavior, pause words -- such as like, you know, um, uh, ah -- are to be avoided. The best way to remove them from your interview responses is to practice -- and practice some more.

Other nonverbal behaviors to avoid:

Chewing gum

Wringing your hands, or constantly moving them around

Fidgeting in your chair

Playing with your hair, touching your face

Excessive sweating

It takes some practice, but you can learn to avoid BAD nonverbal behaviors.
