The speechwriting payment and ordering process:
Speechwriting services include research, writing, and revisions, and
are charged on an hourly basis at $50/hour. A $100 deposit is
required to begin the process and can be ordered from our store under
Speechwriting Services. A typical speech will cost $200-$300,
although wide variations are possible depending on the complexity of
the assignment.
Once you have placed your order for a Speechwriting Deposit, you will
receive instructions for completing an online form called "Audience
Analysis," that collects the information we need to write a speech
for you.
After we receive your Audience Analysis Form, we will
e-mail you an estimate for the cost of the finished speech.
Once the speech is complete, we will send it to you as an e-mail
attachment. At that point, you can request revisions, also charged at
$50/hour.
Once you have signed off on the final draft, we will charge your
credit card for the balance between your initial deposit and the
final cost of the speech.
Timing:
To allow enough time for research, writing, revisions, and for the
speaker to practice the speech, we suggest that speeches be
ordered at least three weeks in advance. Any speech ordered with less
than 7 days but more than 72 hours lead time will require an
additional Rush charge of $100. Any speech ordered with 72 hours
lead time will require an additional Super Rush charge of $300. We
cannot provide speechwriting services with less than 72 hours lead
time.
