Job Interviewing Tutorial for Job-Seekers

 

What's important to know about group or panel interviews?

 

Make eye contact mostly with questioner, but also scan and make eye contact with the other interviewers. And certainly do not ignore any of the members of the panel.

 

It's important that you establish -- as best you can -- rapport with each member of the panel.

 

After the interview, be sure and send thank-you notes to all the members of the panel. Do NOT send a "group" thank-you. Also, individualize each letter -- no sending each interviewer the same note.
