"Website of the Week: When we went in search of our websites for this week's Stellar
categories we discovered Quintessential Careers: A Career and
Job-Hunting Resources Guide with their excellent article for teens,
"How to Find a Summer Job." But it doesn't stop there. This site is a
great source of information for all job seekers. We particularly liked
the Career Tutorial section, which includes specifics on Internet job
hunting, salary negotiation, resumes and letter writing. The website
is easy to navigate and offers their magazine "Quintzine" in current
and archived issues. Definitely a WOW well deserved!"
"Quintessential Careers - What does the Domino Effect have to do with pizza? Don't know?
This should be the first site you stop at when looking for a new job. This site will educate you
on the job search process. It covers everything from resumes and cover letters to networking
and salary negotiation."
"Quintessential Careers boasts expert (and free)
career advice for all types of job-seekers: teens,
college students and grads, as well as women and
minorities. Tools include articles and tutorials."
Janet Scarborough writes: "A truly comprehensive career development site is the Quintessential Careers web site --
www.quintcareers.com, a mega-site maintained
by Dr. Randall Hansen, a marketing professor at Stetson University. This may be the best
organized career site I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them!"
