This is the scoring guide for our Distance
Learning Self Assessment Quiz. If you haven't taken the quiz yet, please go back and take it before reading
the scoring guide.
Scoring: Give yourself 1 point for every ‘agree,’ 0 points for every ‘neutral,’ and -1 point for every ‘disagree.’ Now total up your score.
If you scored…
- 13-15 points -- distance learning should be a perfect fit for your needs.
- 10-12 points -- distance learning could work for you, but you’ll have to work at it.
- Under 10 points -- distance learning is probably not your best option;
consider conventional education sources.
Our caveat: Of course, nothing is carved in stone, and even if you scored a
low number on this quiz you could still succeed in distance education. The purpose
of this quiz is to familiarize yourself with the traits of successful distance learners;
however, not all distance learners fit one profile…so use your judgment, and if you
are determined, then try your hand at it and see how it goes.
