Database Administrators -– One of the fastest growing occupations, the database administrator provides database administration for mainframe and server
databases, learns the business requirements for complex computer applications, and provides consulting services to systems and users. The Database
Administrator is also responsible for recommending implementation technology to application developers. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science
or equivalent work experience. Experience with the following is often desirable: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, Perl, PHP, ODBC, OLE/dB, ADO/RDS,
JavaScript, VBScript, MFC, ATL, Active Server Pages, ActiveX, Java, EJB, JSP.
