Founded in 1858 and nestled in Oregon's Willamette Valley, Linfield College has been described as a "hidden jewel" among the nation's colleges and universities and has three times been ranked number one by U.S. News and World Report (Comprehensive Colleges, Bachelor's Category, 2001, 2002 and 2003). A solely undergraduate institution with a 12 to 1 student-to-faculty ratio, students get personal attention in the classroom and learn from professors who are experts in their field (98 percent hold a PhD or terminal degree). Students also have the opportunity to learn from experts throughout the world when studying subjects such as Asian history in Japan or British theatre in London with Linfield's outstanding international programs.     Lisa Knodle-Bragiel
    Lisa Knodle-Bragiel is Linfield University's director of admission. She has 13 years of experience in higher education. Lisa is a member of NAFSA, NACAC, PNACAC, HACAC, RMACAC and has served on state and regional committees related to recruitment and enrollment. She is a member of the Long Range Planning Committee at Linfield and has also served the institution on several other major committees. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and sociology.
