June job growth in the U.S. slower than expected, but unemployment stays at record low.
The Labor Department reported that 121,000 new jobs were created in June, which
was well below the forecasted 160,000 -- but still better than the revised
92,000 gain posted in May -- and the three-month average of only 108,000 new jobs a month added to
payrolls is seen as s less than what is needed to keep pace with population growth.
Still, the good news is that the unemployment rate stayed at 4.6 percent, in line with forecasts
of economists, who had predicted the rate would remain unchanged from the May reading.

If you're suffering with a bad boss, now is the time to let off some steam.
Workers can submit bad boss nominations until July 19th. Submit a story about your bad boss --
it can be your current boss or someone from a previous job. There is no need to
include the name of the company or any personal names or other personal
identifiers with the story. My Bad Boss website readers then vote on their favorite posted stories.
There are weekly semi-final prizes for the best bad boss stories, and one grand prize
chosen from among the semi-final winner. The grand prize is a certificate worth a
seven-night stay in a condo vacation.
