FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Quintessential Careers Honored with National Awards
(QUINTESSENTIAL CAREERS: DeLand, FL) -- Quintessential Careers (http://www.quintcareers.com/), a leading job-search and career-development Website, has recently been honored with two prestigious awards.
The first award is the 2003-2004 Golden Web Award in recognition of creativity, integrity and excellence on the Web, awarded by the International Association of Web Masters & Designers. This is the third time in the last four years that Quintessential Careers has been honored with this annual award.
The second honor is being selected by Forbes Best of The Web as one of the "Best of The Web" for Spring 2003. In fact, Quintessential Careers was chosen as a "Forbes Favorite," as the best site in its category by Forbes Best of The Web.
"Our mission is to be the ultimate career, job, and college site, offering free expert career and job-hunting advice -- through articles, tools, tips, and tutorials, as well as links to all the best job sites," states Dr. Randall Hansen, publisher of the Website. "And winning these two national honors really helps validate a lot of what we do for students and job-seekers."
Quintessential Careers has garnered many other awards too numerous to mention (more than 100). Some of the site's proudest accomplishments, however, include its listing as one of the best Websites in many career books, including, America’s Top Internet Job Sites and CareerXRoads: The Directory to Job, Resume, and Career Management Sites on the Web (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003), as well as its designation as a USA Today Hot Site.
Besides serving as publisher of Quintessential Career, Hansen is also an associate professor of marketing at Stetson University. Hansen also writes a career advice column published in the Daytona Beach News-Journal as well as under the name The Career Doctor (http://www.careerdoctor.org/), and is co-author of the cover letter bible, Dynamic Cover Letters, now in its third edition.
